Effective date: October 29, 2026
Operator: OHVTrips, a trade name of AJW Ventures LLC ("we," "us"). Contact: hello@ohvtrips.com, PO Box 92, Pine, CO 80470.
This short policy explains what we collect on the coming-soon page at ohvtrips.com. When the full trip-planner site launches, a longer Privacy Policy will replace this one.
Short version: we collect only what we need for the waitlist and to run this page. We don’t sell your personal information. Email hello@ohvtrips.com to ask us to delete your data.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Launch / waitlist email: your email address (and name, if you provide it) when you sign up for launch news.
- Messages to us: anything you email to hello@ohvtrips.com.
Information collected automatically
- Server / hosting logs: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and timestamps (needed to serve and secure the site). Our host is Vercel.
- Analytics (if enabled): aggregate page-view counts. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not set cookies and does not store your IP address.
- Cookies and similar tech:
- Essential: may be used to keep the site working (for example, security or load balancing).
- Affiliate / referral tracking (when we place partner links): if you click a partner link (for example RVshare through the CJ Affiliate network operated by Commission Junction LLC, or other partners we disclose), that partner or its network may set or read a cookie or similar tracking technology so it can credit OHVTrips if you later book or buy. That technology is operated by the partner / network under its own policy. We don’t control those cookies.
- We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta pixels, or other advertising trackers on this coming-soon page. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
2. How we use it
- run and secure this coming-soon page;
- send launch news you signed up for (unsubscribe any time);
- answer messages you send us;
- measure aggregate traffic;
- credit affiliate referrals when you click a partner link, so partners can pay us;
- comply with law.
3. Who we share it with
| Provider | Role | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting and (if enabled) Web Analytics | Server logs / aggregate analytics |
| Resend (email delivery) | Sends the emails we send from ohvtrips.com, including launch news you signed up for once we start sending it | Your email address and delivery data (for example, whether a message was delivered) |
| CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction LLC) and Advertisers you click through to (e.g. RVshare, once approved) | Referral tracking and commission credit | Click / referral data via their links, redirects, and cookies. We don’t send them your name, waitlist email, or payment details from this page. |
| Other service providers who help us run the page | As needed | Only what’s needed for that job |
We may also disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect safety, or as part of a sale of the business (the buyer would be bound by this policy for data collected under it).
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share the waitlist with advertisers for their own marketing.
4. CJ Affiliate / partner cookies (required disclosure)
When affiliate links are live, clicking one may cause CJ’s tracking technology and/or the Advertiser’s technology to store or access information on your device (cookies, pixels, or similar) so a booking or purchase can be credited to OHVTrips. That is third-party technology. Options to discontinue those cookies include:
- blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings (this may break some features);
- using industry opt-outs such as https://optout.aboutads.info where they apply;
- reviewing CJ’s privacy materials at https://www.cj.com/ (Privacy Policy / Your Privacy Choices links on that site) and the Advertiser’s own privacy policy (e.g. RVshare’s).
We mark affiliate links “(paid link)” when they appear.
5. How long we keep it
- Waitlist email: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep the address only on a do-not-email list so we don’t email you again.
- Server logs: short periods needed for security and operations (typically days).
- Analytics aggregates: up to 12 months.
6. Your choices
- Unsubscribe using the link in any email.
- Access, correct, or delete waitlist data: email hello@ohvtrips.com from the address you used. We’ll respond within about 30 days.
- Depending on where you live, state privacy law may give you additional rights; we’ll honor valid requests as required.
7. Children
This page is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Effective date” above will change when we do. When the full site launches, the full OHVTrips Privacy Policy will replace this interim version.
